Who organizes the tours listed on the website?

All itineraries are designed and led by Valentina Battocchio, licensed tour guide and tour leader.
When I collaborate with colleagues, they are always certified and experienced professionals.

What’s the difference between a scheduled tour and a private tour?

A private tour is designed exclusively for you and your group. You can choose the date, timing, and experience based on your interests and travel plans.
Scheduled tours are temporary not available.

What happens in case of rain during a private tour?

Private tours normally run even in case of rain.
If weather conditions are particularly severe, I will contact you in advance to evaluate possible itinerary adjustments or rescheduling options.

How do I book a tour?

You can book by filling out the contact form on the website or by email.
I will reply with availability, proposal details, and booking instructions.

How do I pay for a tour?

To confirm your booking, payment is required through a secure link by credit card.

What if I can no longer attend a tour I booked?

Cancellation policy:
Cancellation up to 30 days before the tour → full refund
Cancellation between 29 and 20 days before the tour → partial refund or credit depending on planning stage
Cancellation less than 20 days before the tour → non refundable

Is prepayment required for tours?

Yes. To confirm the experience, payment via secure link by credit card is required. In case I have to purchase entrance tickets for you I kindly ask you a refund by PayPal, if possible

Can I gift a private tour?

Yes. You can purchase a voucher for one or more private tour experiences and gift it to someone else.

How can I stay updated on your tours and experiences?

Absolutely. Contact me and we will design the experience together based on your needs.

Can I customize one of your private tours?

Yes. Every private tour can be adjusted or expanded according to your interests, pace, and priorities.

Can I organize a birthday, anniversary, or special event during a tour?

Yes. We can design a tailored experience for your special occasion, subject to availability.

Can I book a private tour for a small private group?

Yes. Private tours can be organized for small private groups. I will adapt the itinerary, pacing, and logistics based on your group size and needs.
In Venice, licensed tour guides cannot lead groups larger than 25 people.
In other areas of the Veneto region where I operate, there is generally no strict legal group size limit, but I always prioritize comfort and quality of experience.

I am a tour operator or travel agency. Can I collaborate with you for small groups?

Yes. I regularly collaborate with tour operators and travel agencies.
I normally accept small groups with a dedicated rate.
For groups up to 25 participants, the use of whisper headsets is included in the price when required.

How far in advance should I book a private tour?

I recommend booking at least 30 - 60 days in advance to guarantee availability and proper planning.
If your trip is sooner, contact me and I will do my best to accommodate your request.

If my association, agency, or company needs additional services beyond guiding, can you help?

Yes. Over the years I have built a network of trusted professional partners.
I can help coordinate additional services such as:
